Fifty Fifty is a free fruit slicing game you play by swiping. Fruit flies up onto a wooden cutting board and you slash through it with your finger or mouse. The twist: the game measures every cut. Each half flies off showing its share of the fruit, like 47% and 53%, so you always know exactly how close you came. Play it right here in your browser on a phone or a computer.
The closer you get to a true 50 | 50, the more points you score. Chain GOOD cuts or better to build a streak and multiply your points up to Ã4, and every cut in a streak rings one note higher. Land a PERFECT 50 | 50 and time slows, gold confetti bursts and the music swells. Miss a fruit or hack off a lopsided sliver and you take a strike. Three strikes, or a single bomb, ends the run. Unlike a classic fruit cutting game, mashing doesn't work here: aim beats speed.
How to play Fifty Fifty
- Tap to start. Fruit is tossed up from the bottom of the screen.
- Swipe straight through each fruit. Aim for the exact middle.
- Each half shows its share of the fruit. 50 | 50 is a PERFECT, 48 to 49 is SO CLOSE, 45 to 47 is GREAT, 40 to 44 is GOOD and 25 to 39 is OK.
- GOOD cuts or better build your streak. Every 5 in a row adds a points multiplier, up to Ã4. An OK cut resets the streak.
- A fruit that falls uncut, or a lopsided cut under 25%, is a strike. Three strikes ends the run, and so does slicing a bomb.
- Tap anywhere on the game-over card to slice again instantly.

Tips for a higher score
- Wait for the fruit to slow near the top of its arc. It is easiest to cut dead centre when it is barely moving.
- Make short, straight swipes. A long slash can clip a second fruit and leave a lopsided strike.
- Long fruit like lemons and watermelons still split 50 | 50 through their centre, at any angle.
- Bombs glow red and hiss. Swipe around them, never through them.
- Golden apples are worth double points and 5 bonus coins (â).
- Every 15 cuts the board changes: FARMERS MARKET, CITRUS GROVE, TROPICAL BEACH, SUNSET DOJO, NIGHT MARKET and MOONLIGHT. Each adds new fruit and throws them faster.
